Ein Mod, der der Überlieferung des ursprünglichen Spiels entspricht, das M16, das aus GTA San Andreas herausgeschnitten und nur in Zwischensequenzen zu finden war, wird jetzt auch für den normalen Modus verwendet. Während viele Leute die Waffentexturen von Manhunt 2 verwenden, hat dieser Mod eine etwas dunklere und kräftigere Textur im Vergleich zum M4 und ein Symbol, das dem M16 besser ähnelt.
Im Vergleich zum M4 hat das M16 eine viel höhere Feuerrate, obwohl sein Magazin standardmäßig auf 30 Schuss begrenzt ist.
Der Mod ist sowohl für die normale Installation als auch als Add-on ohne Ersatz verfügbar.

A mod friendly to the lore of the original game, the M16, cut from GTA San Andreas and only found in cutscenes, is now used for normal mode as well. While many people put the weapon textures from Manhunt 2, this mod has a slightly darker and bolder texture compared to the M4 and an icon designed to better resemble the M16.
Compared to the M4, the M16 has a much higher rate of fire, despite the fact that its magazine is limited to 30 rounds by default.
The mod is available for both normal installation and add-on without replacement.
